Position: Watch Leader Europe

Alain Couttolenc, Managing Director, Nielsen Watch Europe, leads the Watch business inEurope. In his role, Alain leads Watch strategies including the development of integrated capabilities and strategic client relationships across 27 countries, as well as the integration with Nielsen’s Buy businesses across the region.

Prior to this role, Alain led the Product Leadership group across all products and countries in Nielsen Latin America. In this role, he was responsible for the overall Watch and Buy strategy and business development for the region.

Before Nielsen, Alain spent 9 years in the Renault-Nissan group where he had an active role in the 1999 merge through the launch of the brand in Latin America and as Marketing manager in France.

Alain holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico. Additionally, he studied Marketing and Strategy at Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management in the U.S.

Alain is a member of the Executive Committee for the EFFIE Marketing awards, member of the Board of directors of Mediametrie/Netratings in France, member of the Board of the Kellogg Alumni association and Marketing professor at la Sorbonne in Paris.
